Discipleship Programs at Experience Hope Mountain

At Experience Hope Mountain, we are passionate about guiding individuals to discover their purpose in Christ while experiencing the beauty and serenity of our mountain retreat. Our discipleship programs are designed to inspire, challenge, and equip participants to grow spiritually, emotionally, and practically as they walk in faith.

Gap Year Program

For young people seeking direction and a deeper connection with God, our Gap Year Program offers a life-transforming experience. This four-month program provides an opportunity to step away from the busyness of life and dive into intentional Christian discipleship. Participants will live on Hope Mountain, engage in daily Bible studies, work alongside our ministry teams, and serve in meaningful ways, from assisting in local schools to working on our farm and helping communities in need.

Through Christ-centered mentorship, participants will not only learn about their faith but also how to live it out in real and impactful ways. With excursions across the Dominican Republic, counseling sessions, and opportunities to learn Spanish and about missionary life, this program is perfect for anyone aged 18-22 looking to grow closer to God while exploring their calling.

Internship Program

For individuals aged 18 and older, our Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to make a difference while developing practical ministry skills. Internships last a minimum of two months and can be tailored to your gifts and passions. Whether you feel called to teach, work in agriculture, lead discipleship groups, assist with construction projects, or serve in community outreach, we welcome you to be a part of the incredible work God is doing on Hope Mountain.

As an intern, you'll be immersed in a supportive, faith-filled environment where you can grow spiritually, gain hands-on experience, and see how God can use your talents to impact lives for His glory.

Both programs include authentic Dominican meals, excursions, and life-on-life discipleship within a vibrant community of believers. At Hope Mountain, you will not only encounter Christ but also discover how He wants to use you to bring hope and life to others.
